20-40%, increase of wages for state’s administrative body [Archives:2004/740/Local News]

Minister of Civil Service and Insurance, Mr. Hamoud Al-Sofi, has announced that there will be an increase in the wages of employees at the state's administrative body, ranging between 20-40% of the base salary from next June.
The Minister said that his ministry is currently putting the final touches to the project to modernize the civil service and comprehensive administrative reforms. He also alluded to the issuance of a law concerning establishing a civil service fund and to the Republican Decree to adopt the new civil service system, which uses finger prints, biological images and the special employment ID regarding employment at any of the state's corporations, in order to prevent double jobs.
