28 dead, 227 injured in traffic accidents in one week [Archives:2002/32/Local News]

Statistics indicated that a staggering 28 persons were killed and 227 injured in different traffic accidents around the country in the last week of July. The damage was estimated at around YR 5.5 million, was due to speedy driving and violation of traffic laws plus other factors.
