3000 Yemeni Students Study in Jordan [Archives:2002/02/Local News]

Yemen’s Ambassador to Jordan, Ibraheem al-Adofi said the -Yemeni-Jordanian relationship was excellent with regard to the political communication and that both countries had identical standpoints and joint visions towards Arab issues.
Concerning people who go there for medical treatment and are exposed to cases of swindling, the Ambassador pointed out that the Embassy was supposed to prepare brochures distributed to passengers with the aim of acquainting them with everything they needed. He added that there was a Health Attache at the Embassy and passengers could contact him for necessary information about hospitals and the possibilities for treatment in Jordan.
With regard to students’ conditions the Ambassador said there were more than 3000 Yemeni students studying at the Jordanian universities and receiving their salaries at the end of every three months. He added that the Embassy followed up and supervised student’s conditions.
