Symposia on Poverty in Yemen [Archives:1997/42/Local News]

Today, Monday, October 20th, the Center for Yemeni Research and Studies will organize a symposium on the economic conditions of the poor in Yemen. Tomorrow, the Economic Department at Sanaa University will organize a symposium on “Poverty in Yemen”. Both symposia address the deteriorating conditions of the vulnerable segments of the Yemenis society, and the impact of the economic reforms on them.
