AESCO Assists in Eradication of Illiteracy [Archives:1998/03/Local News]

The Arab Education, Science and Culture Organization (AESCO) has provided $515,000 by way of aid to the National Organization for Adult Education and Eradicating Illiteracy. The Arab Development fund has provided $380,000 of the above sum. The money will be used to partly fund a $15-million project to eradicate illiteracy in Yemen.
