The Ministry of Social Affairs and the National Council for Mother and Child Care organized a seminar on Saturday, October 4th. “The basic objective is to direct the attention of the business community to the lucrative possibilities in investing in projects which meet the needs of children,” said Ali Saleh Abdullah, Deputy Minister. A paper presented at the seminar indicated that the country imports almost US$ 2 billion worth of goods related to children. “It is a big market,” the Deputy Minister added.
