The Central Committee of the Nasserite Unionist Party concluded its 8th round on November 10th. Following a four-day discussion, the party issued a three-page communique which outlined its position on many of the local, regional and international issues. The communique denounced the rising level of violation of human rights in Yemen. It also criticized the continued lawlessness that prevails in the country. At the economic level, the party was grieved by the steady impoverishment of the Yemeni people by the reform program. Regionally, the party expressed its disgust with the continued blockade of many Arab countries especially Iraq and Libya.
