Graduates to Become Teachers [Archives:1998/03/Local News]

The Civil Service Office in Sanaa has announced that it has succeeded in providing employment opportunities for 204 new university graduates to work as teachers in Sanaa schools. It is known that new job opportunities are well below the annual numbers of university graduates. The available number of teaching posts for 1998 in Sanaa, for example, is 153 only. There are 500 new teachers, whose sepcializations are not in demand, waiting to get employed by state-owned schools.
