Human Development Report Published [Archives:1998/38/Local News]

Under the auspices of the Minister of Planning & Development, Mr. Ahmad Mohammed Sufan, the UNDP in cooperation with the United Nations Information Center will publish the Human Development Report for 1998 on Monday, September 21. The report indicates that the gap between the poor and the rich is very wide because 86% of the world consumption goes to only 20% of the population.
