Yemen Times Is Not For Libeling Others, Our Main Goal Is The Truth! [Archives:2000/48/Local News]

Miss. Nadia Abdul-Aziz Al-Saqqaf the YT Acting Chief Editor confirms in an interview to Sanaa Radio that YT is not a libeling newspaper and its main, first and last goal is to convey facts exactly as they are, no more no less. She also said that YT had addressed many important issues of interest to the people and that YT received good responses to what it had published in this respect. She added that YT was not a trumpeter for the government or an instrument of the opposition but rather an independent paper mirroring the truth without taking any biased stand to the government or to the opposition. She said that despite the modest democratic margin, the paper achieved success in addressing issues of prisons, the disabled, the elderly, the blind conditions beside other issues like tourism, economy and corruption.
Miss Nadias interview coincided with other interviews with Mr. Hamid Shohra, Chief Editor of Al-Nass paper and Mr. Mohammed Saif Al-Haferi, Chief Editor of Al-Shomu paper.
