Break-out Drama [Archives:2000/48/Local News]

Five prisoners managed to escape while leaving the Court of Appeal of Taiz after being sentenced to death. Informed sources said that the prisoners were helped by some soldiers accompanying them.
Security sources said that prisoners were unchained under the request of human rights organization and after the prosecution, while the prison keeper was trying to chain them again they sprayed some powder in his eyes and escaped. The five prisoners are Abdu Dahan Al-Areeqi who is accused of murdering 5 people, Abdul Qawi Ahmad Ali Al-Sharaabi and his brother Hamoud who are accused of killing Mohammed Qassem Qahtan and his sister, Faisal Ahmad Qaaed and Abdul Qawi Abdul Ghani who are accused of killing owner of Al-Safa stationery and steeling his money.
After hours of chase Abdul Dahan and Hamoud Ahmad Ali were reasserted.
