Security Heads Car Bombed! [Archives:2001/06/Front Page]

A car belonging to Colonel Abdulwahed Marish, Head of the Local Council Elections Security Committee, was blown up last Saturday 1:00 am in the main street of Al-Dhale causing damage to a number of nearby cars. Luckily, the colonel was not in the car when the explosion took place. So far, nobody has claimed responsibility for the incident which is the second in Dhale within a week. The first explosion hit the Shaab Telecommunication Center resulting in damage to solar-energy plates, which are used to supply more than 67 lines with energy.
