SAUDI FIRM TO BUILD ADEN TOWNSHIP [Archives:2001/42/Local News]

Prime Minister Abdulqadir Bajammal was introduced on October 10th to the largest township project to be built on Yemeni soil. The project will be implemented by Saudi Power Development Group headed by Sheikh Osama I.A. Abu Dawood, Roy’s Associates International Inc., GC Construction and Development industries LTD. India. The first phase of the project will cost approximately USD 500 million. The township will be completed in 15 years and will cover an area of 935 hectares and will provide 16,000 housing units.
