Training course for journalists kicks off [Archives:2002/39/Local News]

TAIZ-The Human Rights Information and Training Center, (HRITC) is organizing a 2-day training course for journalists starting today in Taiz.
This is the second training course which has been organized by the HRITC. It will include organizing workshops, delivering lectures on the freedom of opinions and expression in national charters and legislation. It aims also to provide journalists with the necessary skills and knowledge which enable them to defend themselves in the context of legal issues” said Ezza Addeen al-Asbahi, the Chairman of the HRITC.
The training course has been entrusted with experts from Egypt and Yemen and will be attended by around 40 journalists, mainly reporters of foreign media.
