Improving Yemen’s communications [Archives:2002/50/Local News]

A $40 million project to update Yemen’s telecommunication system is getting a boast from Korea.
The Korean government will sponsor the work with a 30-year loan, with a 10-year allowance.
The new project is about to be inaugurated in mid 2003.
It will cover most of the Yemeni governorates.
