In a letter to former US President G. Bush, Sr., Ali Mushin Qalalah requested that US authorities release his son Hamdoon from prison.
In his letter, Galalah reminds Bush that the Yemeni pilot, who received the Medal of Courage from President Saleh in recognition of courage when he risked his own life in saving former US Ambassador to Yemen Barbara Bodine in a local flight, is not linked to any terrorist organization.
