Appreciable humane gesture [Archives:2003/635/Community]

In memory of one of most dedicated workers for the German Development service (DED) the late Mr. Werner Gagesh, who worked as an architect for the GOPHCY in Yemen, his family donated YR 400,000 thousand to a local charity organization. DED has announced the decision in a release sent to the Yemen Times on 5 May 2003. Mr. Gagesh had sadly passed away in November 2002 after suffering from a serious illness. He has devoted his life to helping other people improving their lives. He will be always remembered by his friends and colleagues in Yemen.
