Saudi Second Deputy Premier, Defense Minister and the General Inspector Prince Sultan Bin-Abd-al-Aziz stated on 17 April that Yemeni-Saudi relations are the best they have ever been.
During a meeting with the Civil Services Minister Hamud Khalid al-Sufi, who is currently visiting Riyadh, the Saudi prince underlined significance of these relations, pointing to the importance of opening the door for more joint cooperation between the two brotherly countries in various fields.
Al-Sufi told Saba that he had conveyed a letter to Prince Sultan from the Yemeni political leadership related to enhancing the bilateral relations between the two countries.
He said the Yemeni-Saudi relations have witnessed continued progress, particularly since the Jedda border treaty was signed in 2000.
