A lecture on child rights [Archives:2002/35/Local News]

A lecture titled “International Conventions and Child Rights in Yemen” was delivered on August 22 by Mr Abdulrahman Abdulwahab at Asaeed Foundation For Sciences and Culture in Taiz. The lecturer spoke about the main international treaties and legislation concerning child rights such as Education, health, and life. He also referred to some studies on children which a Yemeni official study confirmed that about 45% of children, who are at the age of 7, did not attend schools.
