Accidents claim 38 lives [Archives:2003/627/Local News]

Thirty-eight had been killed in traffic accidents recorded in statistics published last week of this month by Traffics General Authority. There are 194 accidents which caused injury of 250 people, 111 of which are seriously injured.
The Traffics General Authority and its branches in the governorates have estimated material losses at YR 13,450,000 million finding that the breakneck speed and recklessness as well as violation traffic rules are main causes of these accidents.
