The Ahli team of Sanaa has defeated Maknas of Morocco and Buzrea of Algeria in the 9th Arab Table Tennis Championship held in Rabat, Morocco. The Yemeni player Ahmed Zaid defeated his Moroccan opponent 2-nil. The Ahli has now one game to play against Homantan of Lebanon. If it wins, it will get the 3rd position. There are 11 Arab teams participating in this championship.
