Chairman of the board of directors of Yemen Fish Company Eng. Abdulla Ahmed Baqshan and his accompanying delegation had on Tuesday paid a visit to Governor of Aden Dr. Yahya Al-Shuaibi. Mr Baqshan congratulated Dr Al-Shaibi on his new post, discussing prospects of investment in Aden.
Engineer Baqshan then visited the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Aden where chairman of the chamber, Mohammed Ba Mashmous explained to him tasks of the chamber and history. He had also listened to detailed explanation of available investment opportunities in the free zone and facilities offered by the state.
A lunch party was given in honor of Eng. Baqshan and his delegation attended by deputy governor of Aden and Sheikh Saleh Ba Thawab deputy chairman of Aden chamber of commerce and industry.
In a statement to Yemen Times Eng. Baqshan said his visit was to get acquainted with his original country, adding it was his first visit for more than forty years. He also said the visit aimed to explore chances of investment in the city of Aden especially after the support and facilities offered by the political leadership and president Ali Abdulla Saleh.
Yemen Fish Company is one of the Giant investments of Saudi-based Baqshan Group whose capital amounts to $ 18 million.
