Al-Murshidy Honored [Archives:1998/45/Local News]

Organized by the Al-Afeef Cultural Foundation, an honoring ceremony to the famous Yemeni singer Mohammed Murshed Naji will be held on Tuesday, November 10. The event will be attended by many poets and singers such as Dr. Saeed Al-Shaibani and Jaber Ali Ahmed. 
Mr. Al-Murshidy, who is now a member of the parliament, is not merely a singer and composer rather he is a writer and a political activist who was one of the first to sing for the Yemeni unification. That is visible in his book “From our Folklore Songs”.
