Alleviating poverty [Archives:2004/736/Local News]

With cooperation of Oxfam-Yemen Civic Democratic initiatives support Foundation concluded on Thursday 29 April at Taj Sheba Hotel a 2-day workshop titled “Private sector and the non-government organizations artnership for alleviating poverty”.
The workshop discussed the ability of integrating the civil society in implementing and following up the alleviating poverty strategy.
The participants enriched the workshop with their suggestions and comments to find out mechanisms and solutions for the problems that hinder cooperation between the private sector and the civic society.
A large number of private and civic society representatives attended the workshop.
