Appolo organizes medical exhibition [Archives:2002/16/Local News]
Vice president Abdu-Rabu Mansour has called upon Yemeni and Arab doctors and pharmacists to assist their brothers in Palestine.
At the Appolo Medicines and Medical Requirements Exhibition last Thursday, he hailed the exhibition as an important means to introduce what is new in medicine and wished continuity of similar events.
“We live in an information and Internet age in which telecommunications and medicine are among the fields benefitting from this revolution, so we have to peruse every new opportunity, he said.
We have now six dental colleges and we have to connect them with the Internet to make sure that they update the technology,” he added.
Dr. Ali al-Sharabee, the president of Yemen Dental Association, gave a welcome speech and Mr. Hameed Al-hamar, the director of APOLLO company, told of the important role that his company plays to organize such an exhibition.
