Arab Scout Organization Honors Al-Faqeeh [Archives:1997/48/Sports]

The Arab Scout Organization sponsored a major celebration in Cairo last week to honor its founding members on occasion of 85th anniversary of its founding. During the celebration, which took place on November 28 1997, Mr. Mohammed Al-Faqeeh, Yemen’s Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, and one of the movement’s founders was honored. In the same ceremony, Mr. Ahmed Luqman, the Yemen ambassador to Egypt, was honored as first president of Yemen Scout Society.
