Arab Tourism Meeting to be held in Yemen [Archives:1999/24/Local News]

In June 19th through 23, The Arab Tourism Ministerial Council and the Arab Union Committee of Hotels and Tourism will be meeting here in Sanaa. This important event aims at promoting tourist activities and investments among the Arab countries. The event is a good chance for the Yemeni Government to enlighten the participants on the country’s huge potentials in the field of tourism in an attempt to attract tourists from the Arab World to Yemen’s tourist market. The event comes in time to remove the fears about Yemen’s insecurity, which have hit Yemen’s tourism hard following the killing of four foreign tourists last December.
