Arwa University holds its Fifth Cultural Week [Archives:2002/19/Local News]

The Queen Arwa University will launch its Fifth Cultural Week on May 9.
The week has been given the title al-Quds is Ours and it is planned to include political and cultural lectures in support of the Palestinians by academicians and politicians one of whom is Dr. Abu Bakr al-Qirbi, Minister of Foreign Affairs.
There will be poetry evenings hosted by the al-Afif Cultural Organization, poets, top of whom are Dr. Abdulaziz al-Maqaleh and Suleiman al-Isa.
Different sports activities, a shopping festival plus a show of several Arab traditions by Arab communities in Sanaa will also take place during the event which will last until May 12.
All proceeds of the week will go to the universitys Fund for Supporting Palestinians Students.
