Attempts to improve the situation of pharmacists [Archives:2004/750/Local News]

Dr. Fadhel Herab, President of the Pharmacists Syndicate, confirmed during a press conference held last Sunday at the syndicate's headquarters the success of pharmacists, after previously four failed attempts, to announce the foundation of a syndicate for them. This is considered a significant achievement for their profession, and will contribute to enhancing the work of civil society organizations in Yemen.
He confirmed that the syndicate, as part of its work, would find an effective and professional frame that would isolate intruders to the profession, and contribute effectively to the introduction of legislation that will regulate their profession.
He asserted that the objective of the syndicate was to restructure the pharmacist profession for their benefit and to change the current negative public image of pharmacists.
