Because of Traffic Accident, Omar Off Asian Tournament [Archives:1998/50/Sports]

Anwar Omar, one of the best Yemeni athletes, was supposed to participate in the 13th Asian Tournament in Thailand. While on his way from Aden to Sanaa, he was, unfortunately, met with a traffic accident. He now lies in Aden’s Public Hospital. Because of that, he was not able to participate in the Asian Tournament.
Omar now needs a special care to convalesce in order to be able to go back to track and field sports. Will the Ministry of Sports and the Yemeni Olympic Committee provide him with enough support?!
