British Embassy Health Project in Hadramout [Archives:2003/636/Community]

HM's Ambassador Frances Guy has recently returned from her visit to Hadramout to deliver a blood bank to al Hurraidah Hospital and to see the first phase of the Al-Khashaa Health Center nearby Al-Taweela.
The Ambassador also visited a number of schools in the area.
The hospital administration thanked the ambassador for her efforts in helping the hospital in supplying the blood bank.
Both the Health Center and Blood Bank projects have been funded under the Small Grants Scheme from the British Council.
The SGS is currently managed by the DFID in the British Embassy and is supposing Health and Education projects in Yemen.
