The British Embassy is celebrating Tuesday October 12 the second phase of the British government supported project “Children Painting Their Rights” at the Rabiya Al-Adawiya school in Sana’a. This project is designed to raise children as well as adults awareness of the children rights in Yemen. A series of workshops are going to take place in schools across the country during September 99 and February 2000. Children will be talking about basic human rights and then expressing their thoughts about those rights in paintings. The project is funded by the British Embassy, managed in conjunction with the British council and coordinated by the Egyptian poet, Zein Al-Abdin Fouad.
