British Tourism Delegation to Visit Yemen [Archives:1998/08/Local News]

A high-level delegation representing 12 British tourist companies is scheduled to visit Yemen during 1-5 March. The delegation will be headed by the Aden-born British MP, Mr. Keith Vaz. This visit comes as part of the cooperation between Yemen and Britain in the field of tourism. The delegation will visit a number of town and cities in Yemen.
The primary aim behind the visit is to encourage more British tourists to visit Yemen. “This delegation shows our intention to promote the tourism industry in Yemen,” said Mr. Ahmed Suleiman of the Trade and Industry Department in Britain.
