Buhrah Sect Launches Qat-Uprooting in Haraz [Archives:2001/31/Local News]

The Buhrah sect in Yemen launched last week a project to uproot Qat trees following the directive of the Sultan of Buhrah to put an end to this evil tree. The Buhrah sects in Haraz has promised to grant a specified sum of money for the people who are going to uproot their trees, in addition to bearing the cost of uprooting and donating coffee plants and banana trees in their place.
The amount of USD 90000 has been earmarked for the Qat-uprooting Project which is supervised by the representative of the Sultan of Buhrah Mr. Salman al-Judir. It is noteworthy that the Buhrah sect is an Islamic sect which freely began its religious activities in Yemen 15 years ago.
