Candidates for Local Councils being screened [Archives:2003/685/Local News]

The supreme committee of elections opened the door for candidates who wish to run for vacant seats in local councils.
This act will continue for 10 days until Nov. 16, during which candidates will be screened to check their eligibility according to the local laws.
The number of seats competed for are in 20 districts spread in 13 governorates in addition to the capital secretariat, whereas the number of vacancies in the election centers reached 75 vacancies in 57 district around the country.
