Carrying Weapons Prohibited [Archives:1999/35/Local News]

The Ministry of Interior issued a press statement yesterday wherein it called the people of Yemen to cooperate with the police to prohibit the carrying of weapons in the capital as well as the main cities. The Ministry further asserted that it is prohibited for any person to carry any kind of weapon even if they have a license. It also warned that stiff measures will be imposed upon the lawbreakers.
