Citizen commits suicide, a corpse found in street [Archives:2004/753/Local News]

The series of suicides continues in Taiz. The latest took place on Wednesday June 30, at Damnah region, situated along the highway connecting Taiz and Aden. The victim Ahmed Najy, 35 years old, burnt himself to death. His wife attempted to extinguish the fire in order to rescue him, but it was too little too late.
In another incident, the corpse of Saif Muhsen Ghalib, 60 years old was found laying down on the street near the Republican Palace in Taiz. Preliminary finding indicated that his death was most likely to be of natural causes.
