Closer ties for Yemen and Pakistan [Archives:2004/795/Local News]

Abdul Elah M. Hajar Ambassador of Yemen called on the Federal Minister for Interior Mr. Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao in his office in Islamabad on Nov. 24.
During the meeting, matters pertaining to official visit by Federal Minister for Interior with his delegation were discussed.
The Federal Minister for Interior will be on official visit of Yemen starting Dec. 1 for three days. The envoy said that Federal Minister's visit would help a great deal to bring two Muslim countries to closer relationship.
The people of Yemen are anxiously waiting for the visit. The Envoy said we wish more co-operations with the government of Pakistan in different areas for the interest of our people.
The Minster thanked the Ambassador for his visit and hoped that two countries would be closer with co-operation between the two Muslim states. He said we are quite willing to help our Muslim country of Yemen in the areas specified.
