SANA'A, Dec. 6 ) There are 122 Ethiopians currently held in Yemen and now they are threatened with deportation after they illegally crossed the Gulf of Aden by boat.
The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees along with Ethiopian officials have voiced concern over the detention of Ethiopians in Yemen.
“We were worried about why they were arrested and what condition they might be in, but then the authorities told us it was because they entered the country illegally and were not political refugees, and that they were being well looked after,” said Abebe Biazen
