Cooperation agreement between Yemen and Djibouti [Archives:2003/656/Local News]
An agreement for educational cooperation signed Monday between Yemen and Djibouti. The agreement focused on educational curricula, benefiting from both sides' experiences as well as enhancing collaboration between educational institutions in the two countries.
According to the agreement, Yemen will provide the Djibouti education ministry with secondary school textbooks, delegating Yemeni experts to Djibouti to train teachers in the Djibouti schools and setting up joint examinations programs compatible with the unified curricula and programs of the two countries.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Abdualsalam al-Jawafi, Yemen's education minister and Mr. Ibrahim Abdi Abeba, Djibouti minister of national and higher education.
