The trials of 20 people involved in embezzlements, robbing public properties, and forging currencies and official documents commenced this week.

Corruption cases were the most prominent, and included the forgery of air tickets and passports, worth about YR3 million, that was committed by a group of eight employees of Sana'a International Airport.

Several embezzlement cases involved public institutions, such as the Ministry of Agriculture the Water and Electricity Corporation.

The bodies that filed suits against the suspects were the Office of Public Prosecution, Yemenia Airways, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Water and Electricity Corporation and the Duties Authority.
