Culture Ministry receives Wadi Hadhramaut atlas [Archives:2002/07/Local News]

The Ministry of Culture received on Wednesday January 6, 2002 a 12-volume cultural Atlas mapping all interesting places in the Wadi Hadhramaut.
The Atlas was prepared and published by the Italian-based MEMAR organization in collaboration with the World Bank following the archaeological surveys supervised by the Ministry of Culture and the General Authority of Antiquities. The event was attended by the Minister of Culture, head of the General Authority of Antiquities, Ambassador of Italy to Sana’a, representative of the World Bank in Sana’a and a number of dignitaries and media people.
