Yemen is bidding farewell this week to Mr. Yahya Rabah, the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of Palestine to Yemen. Mr. Rabah has been working in the country for 12 consecutive years, during which he made extensive contributions to the Palestinian issue and Yemen-Palestine relations.
“He is a man of noble acts and deeds. He lived with us as a Yemeni as well as a Palestinian. We feel great sorrow and pain for saying goodbye to him on the expiry of his term of office as Ambassador of Palestine to Yemen.” said Editor-in-Chief of Yemen Times.
Mr. Rabah has been known for his energetic and social character. He rarely missed an activity or reception he was invited to, and always was there when needed. He is the longest serving diplomat in Yemen and was proudly honored as the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in the Country. He made extensive contributions to the Palestinian issue by inaugurating and co-organizing various activities to promote this issue.
A number of farewell activities were organized for Mr. Rabah, whom we, as Yemen Times, wish all the very best for in his future.
