Debate on elections registration period [Archives:2002/26/Front Page]

Tomorrow the Yemeni Center for Strategic Studies (YCSS) is organizing a round table debate on the preparation for our electoral registration process.
The event will be attended by Allawi al-Mashur, member of the Supreme Election Committee (SEC) as well as representatives of the political parties and other institutions concerned with the democracy in Yemen. Opposition parties have accused SEC of working in favor of the ruling party. They claimed SEC is not giving them fair representation in the committees to carry out the registration of voters names.
