Dia hosts oil and pottery paintings exhibition [Archives:2002/17/Last Page]

Mazhar Nizar, a renowned Yemeni painter, inaugurated an oil and poetry paintings exhibition by Sarabjeet Bhatia and Shymala Rangathan, Indian plastic artists, last Saturday at the Dia organization headquarters in Sanaa.
The exhibition consists of two parts: pottery paintings, by shymala and miniature glass/oil paintings by Sarabjeet.
Works of the two artists focused mostly on beauty of women.
I always intended to paint something beautiful, said Shaymala.
Mrs. Sarbjeet commented on her oil paintings saying that most of my paintings are showing womans beauty.
