SANAA: Yemen Times sources learned that the budget for the year 2000 given by the government was sharply rejected by most of the parliament members including several PGC members. The debate is intensifying about the budget, which the Islah, and supreme opposition coordination council parties refused to endorse. A communique was presented on the budget by these parties demanding that the government should not depend on oil as the main revenue and should develop other sources. 
On the other hand, the new 5- working-days system was not mentioned in the official vacations list. More on P2
