Djibouti and Yemen:Bilateral relation promoted [Archives:2003/643/Local News]

Djibouti President Ismael Omar Jelah concluded a two-day official visit to Sanaa on June 17. During his meeting with the president Saleh, the two leaders discussed the current developments at the regional and international levels and issues of common interest at the Horn of Africa.
The tensions in the Middle East and the Road Map initiative were also one of the major issues of discussion.
An emphasis was put by the two leaders on enhancing Arab solidarity and intensifying anti-terror efforts in order to maintain peace and security in the region.
In order to prepare the way towards complete partnership, the two leaders discussed the promotion of bilateral relations in all aspects including economy and society based on capabilities and potentials of the two countries.
