Drunkard attacks citizens and property [Archives:2007/1046/Local News]

TAIZ, April 29 ) Jawher Ali Jawher went on a drunken rampage, in which he fired random shots from his pistol last Saturday morning in Hawth Al-Asharaf zone, Taiz. He also attacked a telecommunication center owned by Abdulraman Al-Naqib, causing damages to the center's cabinet and front door.

Further, he attacked a car belonging to Wadhah Al-Kuhali and broke its rear and front windscreen. He also fired at a police vehicle at Al-Hawdh intersection.

Eye witnesses mentioned the perpetrator was heavily drunk. Jawher has previous convictions; but has managed to escape detention because of mediation.

The victims demanded judicial authorities arrest the perpetrator in order to stop his attacks against citizens.
