Efforts to Release Al-Jabr detainees Failed [Archives:2000/30/Local News]

Efforts exerted by some of Khawlan tribe to convince president Saleh to release the 65 detainees from Iyal Saeed bin Jabr tribe had failed. The detainees are locked up in the Military Prison in Sana’a since 2.7.2000. The 65 persons were arrested when they pressed to meet the president to discuss some of their problems with him and compensate them for the losses they suffered due to military attacks on them in December 1999.
