Eritrean Delegation Visit Concluded [Archives:2001/40/Local News]

A high-ranking Eritrean delegation arrived at Sana’a last Friday, September 28. The delegation was headed by the Foreign Minister, Mr. Ali Syad Abdullah, the Minister of Maritime Resources, the Commander-in-Chief of the Eritrean Naval forces, the Counselor of the Eritrean President, Eden Fasil, and the Chairman of the Middle East Division at the Foreign Ministry. During the meeting with the President and PM, they discussed the end of the marine borders of the two countries according to international arbitration. The two sides also discussed a number of main issues concerning ensuring the protection of the Red Sea and adjacent sites.
